The simplest way to record your screen in windows without using any third party application

Problem Steps Recorder

In windows, there is no need to download a third party app for recording your screen in steps. There is an in-built feature in windows which is Problem Steps Recorder or "psr.exe".

How to use it?

Open Problem Steps Recorder by
Go to Run. Type psr and click ok

Click Start Record. On your computer, go through the steps on your computer to reproduce the problem. You can pause the recording at any time, and then resume it later.

Click Stop Record.

How to save it?

In the Save As dialog box, type a name for the file, and then click Save (the file is saved with the .zip file name extension).

Use it to record your problems and for making a single zip file containing all your screenshots.

To view the record of the steps you recorded, open the .zip file you just saved, and then double-click the file. The document will open in your browser.
